　　这些年有很多恐怖电影以发生在与世隔绝的林间小屋作为舞台背景，并且形成了一定模式的套路，但《通道》先行吹响了洗牌的号角。本片导演在暴力与温和之间掌握了非常微妙的平衡，因此片中并没有运用大量的暴力镜头和喷溅的血浆，却仍能让人脊背发凉。《通道》并没有把科幻场景或者灵异现象当作噱头，它更像是一部以剧中人物为主导的影片（就像《阴阳魔界》经常干的那样），所有的事情都源自人物的情感，经历以及抉择，而这正是这部小成本独立制作的电影所要展现给观众的——生活中我们所面临的最大的威胁往往就是我们自己。
