　　亚瑟（阿德里安·劳林斯 Adrian Rawlins 饰）是一位精明强干的律师，凭借着他机敏的头脑和灵活的舌头打赢过许多官司。一天，一个身世神秘的寡妇找到了亚瑟，希望他能够前往她所居住的小乡村来处理一下她的遗产问题，就这样，亚瑟跟着寡妇上路了。
