◎简　　介
　　　　玛丽拉（克莱尔·布鲁姆 Claire Bloom 饰）是一位过气已久的影星，为了复出，她在圣玛丽米德最好的别墅中举办了盛大的宴会，邀请了各方宾客，以及自己曾经的影迷们，就在酒会的气氛被烘托到最高超的时候，站在玛丽身边的一位女士突然口吐白沫，一命呜呼。 　　很快，警方就开始了针对案件的调查，死去的女士生前是玛丽拉的忠实影迷，而她所喝的最后一杯酒，原本是要给玛丽拉的！这也就意味着，或许这位女士成为了玛丽拉的替死鬼。警方将怀疑的目标最终锁定到了玛丽拉的丈夫的身上，这让玛丽拉感到非常的崩溃。入夜，一声枪响划破了夜幕的宁静，又一宗谋杀案发生了。
