　　兩名貌不驚人的紐西蘭青年Bret與Jemaine漂蕩到紐約，在龍蛇雜處的下東城落腳。

　　這可不容易，難度一點不亞於征服華爾街。在這兒，人人都是天之驕子，等待機會一搏的樂隊，沒有上萬也有成千。紐約機會雖多，卻因高度競爭，少了點運氣相助，有人苦等一輩子也難圓一個搖滾夢。

　　既來之，則安之，痛苦與羞辱留到以後再說。兩人組了民謠樂隊Flight Of The Conchords，找來同為紐西蘭老鄉的經紀人Murray，希望藉助他的「專業」，曝光宣傳與安排表演。沒料到Murray的脫線與無厘頭，相較Bret與Jemaine根本不遑多讓，這三名活寶就這樣跌跌撞撞在紐約搖滾場景裡胡亂闖關。

　　他們成功了嗎？登上Madison Square Garden的榮耀舞台了嗎？
